Description
THis my first really big shroom shot this autumn. I mean one I found myself. I have a few others, but they are really not very interesting. Maybe some day I´ll make a montage of the less interesting :D Thers are not many of these mushrooms and fungi yet, I do hope that there will come some more interesting. It is almost time for the bigger boom :)

This day has been so windy and sometimes raining and sunny. but very windy all day and yesterday too. Let me ay, I dont fancy stormy weather :/

A beauty, dear Helle. This kind grows also in our garden, and we've eat them. Here are so many mushrooms this year, and a lot of different kinds too.
GORGEOUS! I love these sorts of shots and your way of capturing details is really spot-on-perfect. Really nice colors too. Mushrooms have such nice colors: very subtle. This one has excellent details. It's funny, it's shaped a little bit like an alien egg and so I wonder what will hatch out of it, something interesting, no doubt, maybe even something intelligent and slightly funny? Chicago doesn't have many much of a mushroom crop this year. It's been moist for a part of the year, but I think our heat-blast in the summer cooked everything.
