Description

"ATSF M190 Crosses MLS Bridge in NE" My hand crafted G-scale ATSF M190 doodlebug model crosses the Cozad MLS bridge in NE. The model was hand built, to copy the original, which ran in KS, MO, OK, TX, NM, AZ, and CA from 1931 to 1968. The one-of-a-kind articulated locomotive/baggage doodlebug was serviced in Wichita, KS. Fitted with a 900hp engine, she could put up to 15 freight or passenger cars, but was designed to routinely pull 2-5 Pullman passenger cars on short runs. The original is in storrage in NM, awaiting restoration. The model as shown is 4" wide, 6" tall, and 7ft long and took three months to build. It is radio controled, battery powered, and has a sound system even including "All Aboard." The passenger observation car image on my previous Gallery post is the last car in this image.

I am so blown away by this my friend, and am literally stunned at how realistic this all looks. How on earth did you manage to hand craft the details so perfectly, and then create such a convincing image. This is without a doubt one of the most authentic looking railroads I've ever seen. The time you must have invested in this must be incredible.
