Description

Thought of John Denver's song... But this is not West Virginia... This is near Nacogdoches, Texas. Thanks for all views and comments! Love em! :)

Cheryl... John Denver didn't sing "Take Me Home Country Bridge" lol ...sang about dirty roads - and after the bridge it looks paved.... I love to put John Denver in my car Stereo when I go up to the cabin - shame, shame, shame he's no longer with us, I'm glad I can say I seen him in concert at Red Rocks.

The tramp sound of those wooden planked bridges was a 40's-60's experience. The large suspension bridges at Queenston/Lewiston and Whirlpool Rapids over the Niagara River were of this decking.

This is my type of road with the surrounding trees. A great place to travel and an excellent capture from the car.
