one of my all time fave show from the 70's, i even liked it more then Rod's Twilight Zone show.
he always had a cigarette in his hand as he explained the two paintings and their titles for the show.
painting one: what's in the Basement
A curious young intern at the soul asylum mental hospital creeps into the dark corners in the basement at the run down and aging mental hospital, her curiosity is about to give her more then she expected.
painting two: Medusa
Stumbling upon an undiscovered ancient mytholgical site, a archeology team finds the legendary medusa still alive and is about to discover another truth from her real beauty, curse and the legend.

Very cool idea and composition, Steve!! I loved that show. The one I remember most is the one about the man who wanted to be in the "Fisherman" painting of a man in a boat...but someone moved the paintings and he got stuck in a different one. Rod was Mr. Cool wasn't he? :) Excellent work, my friend!
Man I use to love that show when I was a kid, and the few Twilight Zone episodes that I was able to see...man it brings back memories!

Yeah, I have to say I liked Night Gallery better too -- it was creepier. Remember the one with the crazy cat lady that was killed by her cats? Awesome render!

twilight zone was freaky... night gallery was scary - I liked both but I too leaned more toward night gallery.
What a fantastic image Steve and so reminiscent of one of my all-time favorite shows also. As a matter of fact I watch my DVDs of night gallery and the twilight zone every night before bed

Cool idea man, that show is on one of the Broadcast channels at midnight every night here, I still watch it. It was a great showcase for short story writers, class TV, they need more of that today instead of all these freakin so called Reality Shows. Peace
I always like those old black and white tv shows. Twilight Zone is one of my faves. You did an awesome presentation here, Steve, especially the background story. We can always relate to that. :-)
