Description
I've previously posted a photo of a room in this chateau & one taken from the ramparts, so I thought I'd post this one of the exterior of the chateau itself. I used some of the Photoshop healing tools to remove a car that was parked on the path by the trees & a sign on the lawn...

magnifique !
It is a great expression. I thank you for it. 5+!!
Nicely captured!
Fantastic view. A superb shot!
beautifully situated chateau, given a great treatment
I love the shot, and your postwork is perfect for the image. Gorgeous result! I would crop around a third off the bottom, because I find the mass of the floor and ledge to be distracting. (Of course it's my style to crop out everything that isn't the main subject and half of what is, so I might not be the one to be talking about it! LOL!)
auntietk: That's a good suggestion. I happen to be partial to the 4x3 format, which fills my monitor nicely & that's why I didn't crop it further - but I think you're probably right.
Great POV, my friend. It was nice not to see the car .. ;o) A scenario has just occurred to me. I shall use it for my next game. Warm regards ( well about 4C, but no snow yet ) from Glasgow, Ecosse, John.
A really great shot!
It's a great shot. The trees looks oddly planted. First the castle, then the trees then the lawn.
Very nice shot and colour contrast
Beautiful work! I'm wondering now if this was the chateau used in the film "Ever After: A Cinderella Story" with Drew Barrymore...it looks familiar in that context. What a gorgeous place and excellent POV!
MrsRatbag: No, the castle in Ever After was the Château de Hautefort - which is one I haven't visited (yet)...
What a beauty this is wonderful shot of it.
This is a fine photo and the deep and clean perspective makes it work well. Your detail enhancement is just on the edge for my taste...a tiny bit more would have been too much. As done, it compliments everything nicely.
Outstanding and Congrats. Aloha
an amazing POV and photo!
