Very cool car and capture!
must be a Karman Ghia, most beautiful car and capture! a dream car for old ladies like me;)
cool capture
Cool shot of the old sporter, Jock, but I have no idea of the make, model or year on it.
a great shot Jock but it looks like it has had a lot of body work!
yea jocko i kinda think it's a porshe too, my brother has a '55 speedster porsche and it looks similar! excellent capture no matter!:)*5
Great car,I agree with Andrew.
I go with a modified VW but the fibreglass rear is no very well done.
I like vintage cars!
Wonderful capture! Not sure I've ever seen one of these before. :)
Yes, it's a Karman Ghia (probably modified though), my best friend had one when we were in high school, it was green. Brings back good memories.
Interesting body work...homemade ? but the basic shape is definitely an old Porsche, kool find Jock ! ~Cheers~
oh ... he has his best years behind it ..... but he drives and drives and drives
Well spotted... I believe it's a Porsche 356 from the 1950's.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_356
They were nice but very dangerous. But I think too, its a beetle modified.
I know the name of that car but cant remember right now I use to love the when I was a kid
LOVE IT
Great capture and motif, Jock. Cool shot of this historic car. It was probably state of the art sports car in the 1960s :)+5
Cool looking old car my friend, great shot.
Interesting find Jocko...I absolutely agree with Kenmo above...this is a 1950s, maybe early 1960s Porsche 356 convertible...with a missing back bumper and some homemade modifications such as the exhaust pipes coming out where they do. I used to live in Stuttgard, Germany where the Porsche factory is located.
looks like a porsche 356 c Cabriolet, although the exhaust pipes aren't in the right place, they should be down below the skirt. and owner probably put in a hopped up engine and added some "cool" exhausts... sweet capture!
Great find and capture Jock. Looks like a 356 vintage 1950s. Tail pipes have been modified!
