I like the shadows and light and the play on colors. Nice shot Bill.
Really wonderful light - a super capture, Bill! I can almost feel the coolness and softness of the moss. Beauty!
just beautiful--and the moss gives it such a soft look!
Lovely. So much to explore on that stone, too.
WOW! it looks really humid there and I agree with Andrea. That stone must have a world of life, in a closer view :) Super shot, Bill :)
Superb capture Bill. God Bless.
fantastic image
Lovely capture of nature at it's finest Bill.
I bet you had a lovely stroll in the park, lovely capture!!
So beautiful; I love the longer shadows we get now with the angle of the sun shifting!
It is very well expressed. I thank you for this one. 5+!
nice big stone and texture, beautiful capture
Lovely image. At first I thought the object in the foreground was a scultured shrub, the realized its a moss covered post.. really cool.
Very nice capture. I like the lighting and the small world on the stone very much.
Beautiful! I remember that day ... such a nice time. :) Carkeek, if memory serves.
I really like the clarity and the lighting of your image Bill! A very interesting subject to come by indeed. Pretty neat how there's moss growth on this (cement?) block! Definitely worth stopping and looking! :) Have a lovely week ahead!
That one stone is like a whole new world to explore! The moss is fabulous and incredibly rich, lush, and detailed. Of course I'm wondering who might live under that stone: lots of crustaceans and centipedes, and sheltering beetle people! And a grub or two. Nice! I love the angle of the light in this shot and the way all of the colors just jump out and dance around! This is superb!
Lovely image!
