Description
Last weekend was a holiday weekend in the United States, so naturally I spent the weekend at a Renaissance Festival with a bunch of friends dressing up, goofing off, and generally being stupid.
I'm on the far left, in the costume you've seen before around here.
Next to me is Lillith, apprentice seamstress
Next to her is my friend Eric, sporting garb he's made himself (even the fancy etched brass of his belt buckle and the pouches)
Next to him is Mary Jayne, the village seamstress who's sporting garb of her own creation, in fact the fabric for her bodice was hand-woven by her last winter!
Then we have Eric's brother Mark, also sporting his own creations, with additional embellishments from Eric's etching skills.
All in all, it was a really fun weekend, even if I did wear myself out and will need a week to recover!

This is super! It made me think: "Friends of a feather generally wear extravagant headgear." And then I realized I was misquoting something, or someone! With that mask, you look a bit like a cat I once knew...I think it's the mask/hair color. I really like this shot and it looks like a fun group of friends. I like fun friends!
