Description
Here's one of my new birds which is part of private client project I've been working on.
The Somali Ostrich is one of the two grey-necked Ostrich species (the Southern being the other one). It is found in eastern Africa from north-eastern Ethiopia, across Somalia, to north-eastern Kenya, its range corresponding roughly to the area known as the Horn of Africa.
This ostrich is near threatened, as all wild populations of ostrich are.
