Description
and go until morning
this is one of my very rare, lucky night captures!
with the shutter speed set as slow as it can go, I took the chance to capture the clouds illuminated by the moonlight. but it's the stars that got to me
Have a great weekend
Apparently the photography forum has decided that my upload, Flower in a Basin, rated acknowledgement in the Last Week in the Gallery forum.
thanks to all who commented and faved it and the others
for those who celebrate it, Happy Labor Day
for the rest, have a great Monday

Amazing shot.
Beautiful photography my friend....!!!
Beautiful capture!!
A super shot, Mike! Definitely needs to be seen full size. Congrats on your flower-basin photo - that was a great shot! I did a 30-second exposure once with my Digital Rebel... it's amazing what can be captured when you're away from all the 'light pollution' of a big city.
This is one amazing capture of the stars, just beautiful work, Mike =) and congrats on your recognition for Flower in a Basin, that's way cool & you deserve it, my friend!
Brilliant! It's really lovely. I love the soft wisp of clouds like an underscore to the stars. Beautiful shot.

Beautiful shot, Mike. Very difficult when lights are low.

Amazing Capture Mike.
An amazing shot, Mike. Unfortunately we don't see many stars here in Chicago. You can blame "light pollution."
Interesting....I will have to try some night shots... Aloha

Nifty night time capture, the cloud really gives an air of mystery...kool ! ~Cheers~
Pretty capture!!
Does that star belong to you? Is the intellegent life there? Which right mine or yours? Anyway nice shoot. My camera does not have any exposures..of course it is a cheap cell phone that puts out a big 1 megapxel picture. Dumb thing does not take a picture when you press the button but when you release it. I always seem to jiggle the phone on the release. It would seem your camera has many more features than mine, but can you make a call on it huh huh. Song? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKh6XxYbbIc
