Description
last night was the first time for me to ever see one of the beautiful creatures in person and I got to see two of them. I think they are mates. when I was taking pictures, I had no idea as to what they were. only when I seen on the monitor, I realized that they are moths
they are extremely fast and only stay on a Lantana flower for about 5 seconds

TERRIFIC WORK!
They are amazing to watch. :)))) I have only seen one in my lifetime. :)))) Their drinking straws are extra long, and their bodies so fuzzy and soft. :)))) Most excellent captures of such cutie pies my friend. :))))) Thank you for sharing all of the beauty you see. :)))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :)))))
Busy little creatures, and amazing to look at. I've never seen such before. Excellent capture. You are blessed as a photographer. ;o)

Fantastic collage!!
Beautiful collage of great and interesting shots.
looks more like a bee to me ...
Wow, never seen a moth like this before!
Nice work. I especially like the one in flight.
A guy with a camera walks into a SAM site and says, "I can take out that airplane up there with a kinnetic round." The guys at the monitors lean back in their chairs to see who just walked in the door. "you've got a lot more than five seconds." they say.
it looks so wonderful Richard! great collage
excellent macro and in-flight capture, good eye for getting before they got away!:)*5+++++
They are looking like hummingbirds - we got some of them here too but there is seldom a chance to get a good capture.
