Description
This shot was taken on the "Heiligenberg" near Heidelberg. 1000 years ago here was a monastery. Today, some people spend their free time here or do photo shoots, as you can see in this picture. At night, sometimes young people come here to celebrate their parties.

I love seeing the "bones" of these ancient constructions! So very strong, still at least partly here so nearly "permanent"~ The structures that received care and repair for their long history ARE still here and being used though so few in number. Thank you for sharing this image, even with the people in it for they give it scale, you can imagine the rooms as they were and wonder at their furnishings and use~ =)
