Description
Just a little tribute to the first human to ever set foot on another world. Rest in Peace, Neil.
I well remember the sense of thrill and pride I felt while watching the coverage of the first lunar landing. I was stationed in Udorn Thailand at the time - the TV room in our barracks was packed. You could have heard a pin drop. I'll never forget the cheer that went up when that lunar module touched down, and we heard "Houston, the Eagle has landed."
I felt much the same thrill a couple weeks ago when Curiosity settled gently onto the surface of Mars.
Where were you when Neil took that historic step?

the downside is it did not helped mankind because they become ever more stupid on a daily base.
