Description
I haven't posted any regular photography here in awhile. I figure I would now. Here is a Time Capsule located at the site of the 1964 Worlds Fair. Go full size view and you'll see a list of what is in there.
* Shot taken in Corona Park in Queens, NY.

Very cool capture and interesting list Thanks for sharing this
I think the contents of this capsule, listed on the cover, are the greatest testament to just exactly how huge the drug problem of the 60's was. That and the clothing styles of the 70's, when everyone thought leisure suits and gold chains were good ideas (because their brains were damaged by their 60's activities). The only conceivable way for people to think these ideas were good ones was to be completely zonko-boffo annihilated on drugs. And maybe they had one too many of those "Astro-Cakes" provided by the school system, information pertaining to which is almost impossible to come by. Which means they probably contained the remains of the aliens in Area 51, as well as any number of inorganic compounds such as Twinkie molecules and silly putty. I'm just sayin'.
Interesting list of items, nice capture Mike!
cool shot Mike, i like it, would like to see you use a model in this also someday.. looks like they spelled cigarettes wrong..
I guess Hudson River water would have been too corrosive?
