Description
This is the former Salters Steamer, Streatley.
She was built by Salter Brothers for their own use in 1905 and was converted to diesel in 1959.
She was sold some time around 1996 and, subsequently, to Great River Journeys (of Wallingford), who acquired her in 2005. Great River Journeys have since ceased trading. She is currently laid up.
This photo was taken shortly after Great River Journeys bought her.
At some time between Salters selling her and this photo being taken, she was re-fitted with a steam engine.
