Description
Hi Friends!
This was in our street, not far from our house.
Winning the straw.
Several weeks ago, I made many nice shots from this 'event'.
The lady who comes down, sat on top of the bales during charging.
Here is her descent down.
Thank you very much for your lovely comments.
I'm very grateful, realizing that I remain in default with visiting your galleries.

A really lovely farming shot Jacomina, brings back many happy memories.
I guess stacking hay that high is not much different when I carried heavy materials up a ladder. good I do not have to do any of it any more. very entertaining capture
excellent capture mies, love the smell of hay and alfalfa!:)*5
Very nice capture Mies, you did great my friend. Our drought has been so bad this summer in my area that the price of hay is now $85 a bale. The farmers cannot afford to feed their livestock
This photo brings back memories of holidays in Burgundy Thunder, where I participated in passing moissonés spikes in the winnowing to separate the wheat kernel, its wrapping ... it remplikssais bags, while others went back as here, the straw bales on the truck ... that year, wheat was 120kgs per quintal! Great thanks for this remembrance and take care of you two Mies !!!
It looks very dangerous, Mies! A lovely rural pic.
wonderful
Wonderful scene and capture! :)
For a long time I wish to take a picture about bales of straw. Yours is much more than that. There is men's work and the sign of the time marked by the tractor that identifies the current shooting. The scene is high dynamic with three men involved in three activities and one that looks at. All that is present in this shot helps to elevate the content. Brava
Door de helft van het jaar, oogst moet binnen.
Very cool and fun pic! I remember bucking bales when I was young - that lasted one summer.....
TERRIFIC CAPTURE
