Anyone would think th whole town was filled wit street art. Am guessing it's designated areas only?
Another good one in your series
Some folk still have to scribble on onpther folks work, I see!
I am fascinated by the different styls, the versatile creativity. "Cover versions" of andy warhol, madonna pictures, obey the giant, mosaic painting, paste-up, stencil. Stencil of Rich Craft you can also find in Berlin.
Hi Steve. No. It probably only covers 1 square km in the centre of the city, but the art changes many times a day. When I was a kid, these alleys were filled with cut throats and drug addicts etc. Then the government/owners decided to open up the area to artists from all over the world to go crazy with. It was being tagged anywayzzzz, but now it's lit up at night as an urban gallery. The streets are safe and clean and never empty, and the cafes etc in the area are full 24/7! The whole art scene centre's around Hosier Lane. HERE
I suppose it's better to keep in that 1 sq k than to let it spread everywhere. I'm waiting now to see the Austin Healey you removed!!
Great piece of work Andrew...the colors, shapes, images...love the freedom of expression.
Some nice work here. I'm not a fan of the stenciled work though as it involves little talent, if any. Nice photo Andrew!
Very good art I especially enjoy the stuff on the right of the screen
Another great find of art very cool stuff.
Superb capture my friend. God Bless.
Facinating.
Beautiful composition. excellent work
It is nice to hear that the streets are more safe now. :)))) Artist should have a place to display their talent. :))))) Amazing art here my friend. :)))) I think it would be nice to see the art change on the walls many times a day. :)))) Most interesting. :))))) Most excellent capture. :)))) Thank you for sharing all of the beauty you see. :)))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :))))
Not the best I've seen you show, some does look like the stuff they would get rid of straight away here but the 'Mona Lisa' one...top right.. is quite cool! Rob
Super cool. 5+! Thanks.
the chaos of different styles has its own charm
I like this one, very colorful and I understand most of the images. I liked Wall-e - my grandkids loved that movie!
