Description
An English rock-band from the 70's ... not much to do with this post, except sharing the same name!
I was walking past this old gentleman's residence and his garden - on my way to the South Coast Radiology building (for a 'free' bone density scan) our Government reckons it would be a cheaper option to have the pensioners doing this, than fixing broken hips etc. ...
where was I? - ah yes,
When I spotted this velvety Petunia with the white star in the centre - simply gorgeous, I asked him, if I could take a pic, I just had to have it in the can!
Actually this is one flower which you don't see a lot of, for us here in the Subtropics! (bloody freezing - I am over Winter!)
Cheers
Brigitte
(have been really busy, the last 2 weeks - and now I am back and don't need to feel guilty anymore, having neglected all of you ;)

Love the photo and color! An excellent look into the center in zoom!
Great framing and composition, beautiful capture of this colourful specimen!
Been triple digits here this summer, not to thrilled to be back in the valley. Great deep color, very rich!
