Cool photo! The big one on tracks is the M 110 Self Propelled Howitzer with an 8 inch gun, used in the Corps Artillery battalions and with a few at division level in mechanized infantry and armor divisions. Last seen combat in Gulf War of 1991.
Really cool tank!!
they did great when needed and deserve the honorable retirement! great shot!
A lot of fire power, hope it never have to be called upon again. Todays Hi-Tec fire power is even more powerful.... Hopefully one day, there will be no need for them. Aloha
Nice shot...Any others on location there?... I was in OK a few years back and found a German WW2 7.5 cm Pak 40 sitting in the hedges of one of the old parks just rusting away...I hoped someone would preserve it better...
Outstanding capture of these awesome artillery pieces!!
Cool capture Richard!
interesting monument! I saw a similar one in Oklahoma in Cherokee country if I remember well.
Great Capture
Two 40mm Anti-Aircraft installations and a tracked big boomer that I don't recognize at all... Interesting.
Cool shot Richard!!
It looks big. That could tear up some significant real estate. ;o)
Awesome collection!
Very impressive guns but I hope they are never fired in anger again. Imagine being on the receiving end. An excellent capture.
Impressive guns, the one on the center is my favorite, looks mean!
That is an awesome tank!
excellent capture, great cannons and very brutal firepower!:)*5
Thats nice big solid warrior ride :) But me want to see the real GERMAN BIG BERTHA (Shoot bullet at 50 miles)
Hope they are not called one any time soon lol..
An interesting mix...the two outer units look like ship born AA, twin 3" and a 5" single perhaps, and a very large SPG! thanks for sharing.
Great capture. Whenever I see something like that I always take a moment to stop and wonder what stories they might have.
Great picture!!!
Holy crap - that is one long/huge piece of artillary in the middle!
