Superb pic!!!
Fantastic detail Andrea, I love this shot.
Beautiful insect!
What a gorgeous creature! The colors are brilliant and I have to figure out how to actually get dragonflies to cooperate in future photographic endeavors. The dragonflies in Chicago all seem to have acute cases of Attention Deficit Disorder and so they're never still long enough for you to see that they're even there. I rather like this one. Only insects can ever get away with wearing those colors. I'm especially taken by the eyes: it's as if Nature decided to use jade or some such preciousness as inspiration for those eyes. Oh, but wait, maybe Nature decided that dragonfly eyes were the inspiration for jade. One never knows. This is amazingly gorgeous and well worth zooming in!
Amazing shot Andrea, it looks like a mechanical piece of art, not a word i use but WOW !
Amazing detailed capture Andrea. God Bless.
Who's a pretty boy then!

Go ahead, make me jealous! Outstanding focus, patterns and color in this frontal capture of the handsome Dragonfly, Andrea. Reminds me of a helicopter.
Nice macro work.
Marvelous shot indeed! What a beauty!
OK, he could use a haircut and a mustache trim but other than that a stunning photo, color and zoom. Exquisite eyes Andrea.
Out of this world!
I don't know how you manage this sort of thing. Outstanding capture!
Yes, zoom is well worth it, where it becomes a cloven-hoof monster!
OMG look at those eyes very cool shot.
They are always great to see - in flight and the best in resting and being a model for the photographer. Well done portrait.
Indeed it was worth full size. Gosh it is beautiful. Superb shot Andrea.
