Description
My first of several archery purchases, this is an 80lb pistol crossbow. I also have an additional 12 bolts, an extra string and string wax.
A friend at my jobsite is thinking about selling his compound bow, 54lb with 28" draw
have a great day and thanks for the comments and faves
anyone guess where the title comes from?

Yep the title is from Resident Evil!!!! I got it! Wow I would love a shot of this. Do you need a license for this zombie hunter?
That looks like a deadly weapon! No burglars in your house then?!
I've never used a real bow but I like watching Robin Hood movies and those guys handle them pretty well, my weapon of choice is Glock 9mm I dont strain my arm using it at the ranges... Nice pic Mike sir I've never seen a pistol grip bow before it looks ok.... :0)
Fascinating - and dangerous - not sure you'd be allowed something like this in the UK!
Thats one cool looking bow there i tried one time to pull one of these back but failed there was no way my weanie arms could do so.
very cool :-)
Very classy!
How cool is this....Very IMO!....The silence is what makes this weapon so cool....If your good enough to approach your target in question without making a sound then it's as good as dead....That and of course you take in the wind speed....trajectory...distance to target....sun angle....and so on and so on.....lol...Nice Toy......err....weapon Mike!
The brats in the UK use these to spear pets and horse....and often people Because they are.....bored! It CAN be a fine hobby and sport if taken up properly Mike, which I'm sure you and you're mates do... But, they make me very nervous when used in our Country.. Good shot.. Rob
The tablecloth is beautiful here. And the crossbow is very interesting. I suspect that you are doing to crossbow sport, and one of your friends is Stevie. :)
The armes of silence my frient always efficace for whom used them properly lol.. Tanks to share this . Great ...((5++))
Fantastic weapon!!
Fantastic looking 'crossbow' set, never saw one like this one before!
Great capture of this awesome crossbow Mike!!
Excellent shot, clarity and information about this beauty
Great image.
Very cool piece, Mike! I like it! I have an old pistol style crossbow around here someplace - not as nice as this one, but it still amazes me how far it will launch a bolt.
Good Photo
Like the clothe its placed on :o)
Excellent presentation!!!!!!
nice weapon!
That's really a cool bow, Mike!
IMPRESSIVE WEAPON, BUT I'M OLD-FASHIONED AND PREFER THE MEDIEVAL ONES...
LOL @ Mikeerson's comment! I agree. What IS with that title, LOL? I like that crossbow! VERY cool! I want to get one like that one day.
Lol@ Steve (eekdog) Very cool Mike!!
Quite the weapon we have here! I like the background, it's got that "danger" feel about it that goes really well with the subject! Not too long ago, I heard on the news 2012 is referred to as the "year of the gun"..... a fantastic capture and presentation, Mike!
I agree with Dana, about the title...and about why are you collecting this! "Home sweet home" and you are ready to defend it with this beauty. Is a powerful pistol! In ancient times, no armor could reistir the power of a crossbow dart. They were so effective and dangerous they were declared illegal. They could have changed the outcome of many battles, including the outcome of the Crusades. So i think no zombie, alien or another kind of invader could survive against this!
I've hidden all the apples.
whoa... that is an impressive weapon.
