Description
Luctor et Emergo, a Latin title for this one,
which translated into English is:"I struggle and emerge".
On Dutch : "Ik worstel en kom boven".
This text is also on the weapon shield of our province of Zeeland.
In 1585 - it went bad with the struggle against Spain - showed the Zeeland States
(political ulterior motives) to save a penny on one side the words "Deo Autore, favente Regina"
(by the authority of God and the favor of Queen) and on the other side 'Luctor et Emergo'.
These texts should be considered as a whole:
By the authority of God and the favor of the queen (Elizabeth of England)
and I struggle to get above.
I know now, you call this kind of reed, cat tails.
As you can see, it struggled and came back up.
I love the game of water here.
There is fallen so much rain here, hence this pond was well stocked with all the wet.
