Description
Yes it is true! Planet Earth was destroyed by the greed of the few and the ignorance of the masses. But a few small bands of humans were able to escape to the stars. We found a few hospitable planets to settle and have been trying not to make the same mistakes the previous generations of humans did back on the ill fated earth. Instead of conquering our planets, we have joined in partnership with them and are trying our best to be good stewarts to them. They in turn have been rewarding our efforts most bountifully! This monument we have erected is to be a reminder that we must not make the same mistakes again on these new worlds!
Rendered in Bryce 6.3. Postwork in PS7.

Excellent composition and super POV, superb lighting ! but I am not optimistic about human nature and I think we will begin again the same mistakes! In any case, you made a splendid work here !
Cool image and writings! Hopefully we can learn from our past before its to late!
I guess it will only take a few generations at best for the inevitable rot to creep in - it is the way of things methinks Radders, but full marks for optimism mate :)
Excellent image and idea! But I'm afraid it's too late for the Earth, but I force myself to hope...
As long as the politicians are not allowed there then all should be good...Allow just one dictator and you'll have the same problems that destroyed the former in no time flat...(smiles)..
Great image and idea. I anm afraid I have to agree with all the above, though. Corrie
outstanding composition and idea
This reminds me of the old version of Planet of the Apes, when Heston discovers a buried Statue of LIberty. Cool render!

Very cool image and great idea
FANTASTIC IMAGE!
nice work
Great visual work and interesting text. Sadly man is doomed if he doesn't change his ways, and changing planets won't help.
now it was about time we took some measures on these eartly issue.me for myself i will come up with a new world in the making:Red Spackoidz -The moons of Spackoine.we aquired jumpgates to be able to make swift trips to either one of the 3 main moons.(to be posted soon as i have to translate all to german and french -manually no translator - intelligent sob me lol. as well spackoine changed its immigration politics and parameters,we dont want any of the above mentionned up there,no politicians no lyers or other crooks.lol. but i am sure some will sneak in nevertheless.
