Description
If you find yourself in a banned fireworks area. I would recommend fire dancing as the next best thing to fireworks.
These performers are really moving while working their art. An 800 ISO was as high as I could go without the fire blotting out the image, yet it wasn't quick enough to freeze the fast moving performers. Still like the fire designs produced, and amid some of the designs, the blurred action of the performers actually looks good.
Well, to me anyway...LOL

Cool. I reckon an even slower shutter speed with tripod might be a nice effect too.
Sweeet! I would like to try this, but with battery powered lights.
Wonderful
very wonderful looking
I like the effect. I don't think you want a stop-action effect on this type of shot - the blurred motion and light traces add drama and atmosphere. Well done.
Absolutely cool and wonderful capture
very spectacular shot

You have rea;;y captured the atmosphere here. What a wonderful sight it must have been.
Most dramatic!
Super shot Dana.
I love this picture, so full of motion.
They're dancing like the fireflies...lol...this is a great photo.
Works well - patterns traced out and blurred nicely to show movement
cool looking fire dancers/
Thats really cool and dangerous stuff.

I think you captured it perfectly - it would loose a lot of effect as a stop action.
