Description
I captured this little Vervet Monkey in Amanzimtoti last year July. I do believe he is the "do no evil" addition! :):)
I just returned from a whirlwind 2 day visit to Windhoek, Namibia for work accompanied by high fever and a terrible sinus infection which made flying fun! Luckily it is weekend and time to recover!
Thank you for popping in and for your very valued comments and favs on my last up "Kookaburra".

Welcome back Carin. Superb capture. God Bless.
You are so prone to that stuff, poor you! What a lovely photo, he looks very patient.
Very nice photo. I seen the three monkeys with the other part of the story last weekend.
Very cute photo hope the infection clears up quickly
he is awesome looking and your capture shows all the marvelous details...i'd agree he's the do no evil one...yes perfect title and capture... how a very happy saturday... chills and thrills
Excellent image. Hope you feel better soon.
A super shot of pure innocense!!
WOW!! What a marvellous shot of this little lovely fellow. :) Be well in no time, Carin.
Handsome little fella. Hope you get better over the weekend. xx
Oh what a marvel of a photo! Monkeys are among my favorite creatures, but then knowing me, I'd have to say that creatures are among my favorite creatures. I'm like that. I love the clarity of this shot and maybe I'm in an odd mood, but this little one looks more contemplative rather than admonishing...but then I don't speak Vervet and I don't know what their gestures mean. Oh well. Hopefully , you get better soon. Sinus infections are NO good.
I believe this one is "Spread No..." :) Perfect shot!
Stunning application of stark lighting contrasts in the capture of this magnificent Monkey, pensively contemplating its surroundings, Carin. On the other side of the coin, you have chimpanzees going vicious and attacking a poor human visitor in your general neighborhood. Sorry about your physical problems. Be well.
Beautiful shot. I hope you get to feeling better.
lovely shot
LOL! What a cutie! He looks like he's hoping he won't get in trouble for whatever it was that just happened. :) I hope you're feeling better soon, skat! Sinus issues are no fun.
This is so precious u have captured the look.
So sweet!! What a wonderful find and shot!
Well may he look innocent but he is still a mischevious monkey :)
Very nice photo erland
Yeah right! Of course he won't! lol Another great Zoo portrait shot, well taken.. Rob
Rob - this is actually not a zoo shot. These critters roam free everywhere in SA and in most cases can become quiet a nuisance when fed!
he has a beautiful fur coat and wonderful clarity in your photo!
LOL Looks like a praying Monk ! Literally :-) Great capture
