Description
We used to pass this building, which is a motorway services on, I believe, the M5, on the way back from the UK Lake District.
It was taken on a camera with a resolution of 640x480, through the window of a moving car and was some distance away.
As you can imagine, when zoomed into the area of interest and cropped, the image was not the clearest obtainable.
Fortunately, with the application of Photoshop 'Find Edges' and 'Trace Contour' filters plus a little play with the hue and saturation, I got a usable image.
It does have a SciFi feel to it. :-)

Starfleet headquarters no doubt. Those were the days, I still miss those trips to the Lakes Kev.
I love retro Science Fiction...there was once a day when we believed that The Future would be dominated by top-heavy towers: quite a few of which would be shaped like Seattle's Space Needle, or air control towers such as this one! We also imagined that in "The Future" everyone would have his or her own personal airplane...okay that future is a bit more retro than the George Jettson future embodied by structures like this, but oh well...I'm still waiting for my personal airplane and vast conveyor belt streets, and my "go board" as described in a John Brunner novel...this post Cyberpunk dystopia we're living in is quite boring. Oh well...now, as for this shot, it's quite a marvel; I love what you've done to it and the pink sky adds a nicely alien vibe to it. This image evokes quite a number of stories and that's always a good thing.
That is cool, love the style, outstanding capture and work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
