Description
Here you see a bud of Nigella damascena (love-in-a-mist)
In Dutch called: "Juffertje in het groen".
The flowers of it are beautifully detailed and a true joy to make many pictures of.
The seed pods I really like too.
But here the bud, and I make you aware of Jeff's (aka jayfar)
'today upload' of the flower, as he is in bloom.
Thank you very much for your lovely comments on my earlier upload.
Zoom makes it more detailed and brighter.

Schitterend werk.
What a beautifully strange looking flower. I've never seen nor heard of this beauty. Very lovely, I'm happy to learn of it.
Wonderful very detailed capture and great DOF!!
What a cool shot! The delicate bud among all those spikes.
very beautiful!
This is a superb capture!
That is so different and beautiful. I like the pretty color and the details in the veining!
This is cool! It looks like 3 or 4 little fat baby birds with their beaks pointed expectantly into the air, waiting for mama or papa to return to the nest with food. :)
