Description
This scanned Matte finished photo had taken some damage. It looked as if another photo had stuck to it!, removing parts of the image. Wanting to see if said damage could be repaired and so gave it a go.
The area is Mono Lake, located on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada. A four hour ride through Yosemite on the scenic Tioga pass road from the house in Modesto. Will post more from this area and go into detail about it's geological features.

I like the east side of Yosemite very much.I passed Bishop,CA and I think it would be a great place to live.I recall seeing Mono lake on the side of the highway and it was beautiful. your capture looks very good compared to the damage you implied
