Description
A view from the cliff top at East Quantoxhead, the beach is in layers forming these dramatic strata.
It seems to be made of a hard clay and judging by the number of people splitting stones must contain fossils , I must take a hammer next time we visit and do a bit of hunting myself.

hope you do take up looking for old bones. maybe the next big find will be yours.
Great image of two designs; one by the geology and the other by man! Well seen!
Super shot! Ione summer in my youth I worked for a potter near there.
Yeah I bet it's a great spot for fossils....and erosion!

Beautiful patterns in the wet clay, lovely cliffs and if you bring your hammer next time - please do not forget your camera!!!
