Description
I thought I missed it and almost did. I saw where the sun Eclipse was going to be around 6:30 to 7:30 I drove all the way down to Hollybeach and i was there and no moon across the sun by 7PM.
Did see a man moon but that was the wrong type. lol Try to photograph the man and the woman moon but it happen too fast and I moved the camera trying to get the shot and it did not come out.
anyway I was going home all down and saw clouds moveing across the sun which looked good and all red and all. Then the sun came out below the clouds and I saw the moon. I asked God to let me get at lest one good shot in Hackberry as where I was the grass is 6 to seven feet tall on the side of the roads and blocking the view. Here is the shot the Lord let me get in Hackberry at a shimp place that the boats pull up to the docks to sell they shrimp.
My big camera die on me as i just had one battery for it for now and I forgot my D90 at home also. lol. live and learn

Wow, wonderful. I to saw the Eclipse from Albuquerque which was on the direct path. It was pretty spectacular. A friend had a welders helmet and we had our little pin hole camera device. I was very clear with both when the moon centered. Just like I thought all along....The moon did eat the sun.

I try to shoot my shot with some camera file over the lens but did not have clear tape to make it all the way across my len. i did try a point and shoot with the tape but it did not do right at all. I was happy to have a thin lay of cloud to get my shot good. i even looked at it for a little while before it when down. I did look thought the film at times to see if it was happening but it was not intill late as the sun was going down
