Description
The 'Run For The Wall' has been an annual event for the past 24 years and is intended to honor veterans of all wars, but especially Vietnam Veterans.
This years event started on May 16, 2012 at Rancho Cucamonga, CA (Los Angeles area) and will end on May 26, 2012 in Washington, D.C.
There are three routes; the Northern, the Central, and the Southern Route.
Here, the participants of the Southern Route leave Tolleson (Phoenix area) from 83rd Ave. and McDowell Road to ride to Las Cruces, New Mexico for the second leg of the route.
There are several hundred riders at this point on this route, but by the time they reach Washington, D.C. the combined number of riders of all three routes will be in the 1000s.

Cool and superb photoshot my friend.
Cool. Great shot and info, Sig!
A heartwarming posting Sig. I am pretty sure that my brother-in-law has made all 24 trips starting in Danvers, Massachusetts. He has already left for his 25th time! There is a Marine that stand at one of the DC intersections, at attention, with a hand salute for the four hours that it takes all the participants to roll by. I don't know how he does it!
