Description
people build with cypress around here for that wood is hard to rot or decay.
it will if you paint it with paint of today's so if you wish to paint cypress look it up on google to get the right way to do it. It a old way from the 1800's. You will have to mix up the paint yourself as you will not find it at the paint store.
Cypress cost too much now days to build stuff like this for a poor man.
i showed the inside in a earlier image.
the trees is live oaks

weathered, seen it's days, storms, wind, rain... still stands...
The old tin roof sheds really had a nice character and you have captured it very nicely.
Great capture and POV!! This shed has its own fine personality like no newer houses...
Cool photo and explanation about the wood.
a very rustic & beautifully detailed capture. You caught the many striations in the wood, and the old run-down dignity of the shed. And then the photo is awash---around & behind the shed---with a kind of mystical light. Very powerful & beautiful. The background land is bleached in that beautiful light. A strong statement of the shed and its natural harmony with the trees around it. Beautiful work. I'll come back for more (as my hand heals more). I see other pieces I'd like to visit...
