Description
First of a new series of Victorian HDR images around Shropshire.
Ironbridge is a settlement on the River Severn, at the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge, in Shropshire, England. It lies in the civil parish of The Gorge, in the borough of Telford and Wrekin. Ironbridge developed beside, and takes its name from, the famous Iron Bridge, a 30 metre (100 ft) cast iron bridge that was built across the river there in 1779. Considered to be the birthplace of the Industrial revolution, however many places around this area can lay claim to that, and I have explored them in this series..

Great pic of this interesting bridge.... Looks like it is going to come up a doozy of a storm by the look of those clouds.... Unique looking place I got up a new one too a mystery rose...no one seems to know the name It was suppose to be a John F Kennedy rose but sure didn't turn out to be one.... and it took over a year to bud out as well Drop by when you can..........hope all is well with ya Hugs Susan~
