Description
Arrived in New Hampshire safe and sound. Our car did not fare as well. A young girl, on a cell phone, did not see us or the red light that we were stopped at. We drive a 2005 Nissan Altima with about 108,200 miles. It is still fully functional but the rear end is not so pretty. Her Toyota will need a whole new front end.
This is an egret that was in shallow salt water. The waves changed the reflection and I thought that it was very different. The bright Key West sunshine washed out some of the egrets detail. I will start the comment catch up game in the morning. I was actually thinking of posting this photo upside down. What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated.

AMAZING IMAGE! STUNNING REFLECTIONS
Realy sorry for your accident But sometime it is so hard to think life can be so abrute . Nice photo ((5++))
Glad you and the missus are okay after that mishap, Dana, which is why cellphones and texting should be banned in autos, just like we do here in California....but that still doesn't stop many of the idiots that continue that dangerous practice. Anyway, good shot of the snow white egret, strongly contrasted against the dark blue water, with its doppelganger shown at the bottom.
It is a splendid capture and that reflection would look like a halo if you posted it upside down. I'm glad you made it safely to your summer abode and glad that you weren't hurt in the accident. It would have given you an awful fright all the same.
SWEEEEEET
A very nice photograph especially with that distorted reflection on the moving water.
~Really beautiful capture Dana! Sorry bout that accident!~
Such a beautiful pic.
Cooool reflection!
A great-looking capture! I also almost got side swiped by a guy who was texting and did not stop for the red light. I was turning left and I have the green arrow. I think the law should ban texting and chatting on the cellphone while on the road. They put too many lives in danger as well as themselves.
Sorry to hear of the accident. Your capture is beautiful. Aloha
So ~Sweetly Beautiful~ THANKS for sharing!!!
Excellent work Dana, white is a real bitch to get in bright conditions. What a great reflection too, I am happy you are ok too
This is a fine and great capture - the ring-bird reflection ads something extra to the image. Sad thing with your car. Cell phones is the cause of many accidents. Good you are safe and hopefully she had a good assurance...
Beautifully captured Dana. Love the reflections. Sorry about the car. Cell phones, whether talking on them or texting are responsible for some horrible crashing. Hope it doesn't spoil your vacation!
Sorry to hear and that all is okay under the circumstances...I won't get on my soap box about cell phones...lol...Wonderful Capture here Dana!
Beautiful photo and the circular reflection is really interesting. In Alberta we have a distracted driving law that is supposed to stop cell phone useage, but it only works for the people who obey the law, unfortunately.
