Description
Headed down south to Modesto tomorrow. Will try to post one more before rolling out.
A detailed view inside the moat surrounding the sandstone castle. Lots of textures in full view, if your into that kind of thing.
To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!!
Thank you all that supported the last image.

This is so cool looking I wish there was something to give us a sense of scale, but this is still very impressive
Beautiful. Yeah it is hard to get a sense of scale out of this, which is what I like! Those dark bits almost looked burn't.
very beautiful subject
Scale... would say the moat is more than two of me in width, and I'm 6 foot tall. Say about 13-15 feet in total width and this image is half of that. Thanks guy's!
Wow, you get the most amazing shots! Fantastic work.
Very beautiful indeed Dana.
Funnily enough I get the scale straight away, and it's usually me who doesn't! Marvellously rich image!
great texture here - so great !!
Very beautiful scene. Fantastic shot!
Amazing stuff to look at hard to believe these formations but love it all the same.
amazing formations and close up
Oh, MY! Thanks for the dedication AND for the "close-up". Those thin edges look sharp as knives. I sure wouldn't like to fall on one of those! Beautiful shifts in color. It's interesting to see how the stone flakes under the influence of the sun's heat and cold nights, resulting in the ribbed pattern. Thanks again! :-)
Absolutely amazing!
Even a lot better in full or zoomed in view. Wonderful capture as always!
NIce textures and cool shot!
