Description
The Buddhapadipa Temple (officially known as Wat Buddhapadipa) is a beautiful Thai Buddhist temple located in the suburb of Wimbledon, London. Buddhapadipa Temple was the United Kingdom’s first Buddhist temple.
My sister took me here to see this place. We went inside and latched onto a guided tour already in progress. It was fascinating, the paintings on the walls very detailed and complex - one could spend hours just soaking it all in.
Sadly I was not allowed to take any photographs of the murals. We walked around the expansive garden as well, but the wet weather did not allow for much time there!
