Description

I thank you for dropping in my gallery and I wish you all a marvelous time! As our bathroom gets renovated from A-Z, we have a lot of stress for the moment (René nearly made a nervous-breakdown, he likes it to jump out his skin from time to time - lol), I have some other appointments with different docs and the vet for our sweet Biggigirli. These last months the spanish people are getting more noisy all around in Denia/Costa Blanca (it gives us splitting headaches and the doggy are bouncing out of her fur, poor girlis, they are so much frightened! The spanish youngsters, who have no more pleasing manners, are just bawling & throwing firecrackers around the whole days until late into the nights - Even the policemen can stop them!!! They are frustrated that they can not find a job, 25% are jobless after the 'big building freeze' last year and desperate about the crisis here. Spain is realy no more what it was like, when we came here in 1997, we are serious playing with the thought to sell everything here, as quick as possible and to go back to Luxembourg, it's more safe! So please give us the necessary time for getting the stress under control and we will be happy to show up again as soon as we can, we gonna miss you all! Take care, with warmth, Ute & René

Great looking image Ute!!! Please stay safe and if you need to move then come to northern Canada. It is safer, but you would have serious weather to deal with. :)

So sorry, Ute. I can understand. I got the hell out of Los Angeles 25 years ago & moved to 'the middle of nowhere land', armed myself with a riot gun, a pack of pit bulls & an attitude. Been happy ever since. Lol. Hope things get better for you two & the pups. Hugz....

that's the thing about renderosity, we're one big happy family and we see first hand that this unemployment problem that took off shortly after all the gas prices went up is global.... If you move back to where you were in 97, they're going thru hard times too - it's like that everywhere.... May 5th is coming, so of course it's gonna be loud for another week - lol.... funny thing is, we have a lot of people from Mexico that live here and last year it was the quietest it's been in years - I think the Mexicans that have lived here a while are started to respect the fact that they are Americans now and Don't need to parade up and down the streets with the Mexican flag... I'm all for them partying, don't get me wrong, but if I left the country, I'd feel strange driving up and down the street waving the flag from the USA.... but, that's just me I guess...... Born to be Wild? no bathroom? I take it you two are using the trees in your backyard??? lol

Adorable image, she does look like a wild child, lol. I am with Rene, when it comes to renovations, I HATE them and I'm a nervous wreck the whole time they are going on. Hopefully this will be done soon and you all can get back to a peaceful exsistance, inside anyway. I'm sorry to hear about the turmoil near you, whatever you decide to do, I hope you two stay safe.

Your frustration shows here, Ute, she looks disturbed to say the least. I've often wondered how things have been going there in Spain for you guys, I hear enough on the news and read on the net where Spain is in dire straights economically, as well as Greece, Ireland, et al. The E.U. looks headed for collapse, as does are own U.S. economy... a global plan by the bigwigs I'm sure. I have the unfortunate circumstance of living in an area that has been either #1 or #2 in unemployment for the entire country and it's been like this for several years now. I quit my job in early '08 to take care of my Mom who was dying of terminal brain cancer and by the time I lost her the economy had taken a massive dump ~ 10-12 million jobs gone. I've been looking for work for years to no avail and I'm in a terrible demographic group, that being a 55 year old White male... the hardest hit group in the U.S. So here I sit with literally decades worth of experience and I can't find anyone that will give me a chance. The longer I'm unemployed the worse it looks on my resume ~ afterall, who's going to hire someone that hasn't worked in over 4 years? Must be something terribly wrong with me, right? The icing on the cake is that I can't sell out and move to a better job market without taking it in the ass with the house I inherited here... the housing market STILL hasn't hit bottom yet and I'd lose my ass. Ain't life garand. In any case I wish you and Rene the best. Everything has it's pros and cons but I can certainly understand your considering moving back to Luxembourg. My thoughts and prayers to you, my friends...

Unfortunately, the crisis is affecting the whole world! Even in Italy, the situation is very bad! Young people cannot find jobs, all merchandise is increased in price, people buy less because money is not enough, moreover the new taxes are being led to the collapse! I hope for you and René that things get better! A warm embrace!
