Description
This old truck came from the countryside to deliver flowers to several stands in Plaza Cagancha, Ciudad Vieja, Montevideo. After the delivery was complete, preparations began for the return trip. Making sure enough water was in the radiator was one of the steps.

What a great image! I remember when this sort of thing was SOP. Vehicles have certainly got more complicated, yet more reliable!
I remember this too. Some of my early cars needed water, an oil check and top off, a jump start or push and who knows what else. It was SOP for the cars I could afford. I learned the hard way, blew a hole in the engine block of a '52 Pontiac because it almost ran out of oil and I was totally unaware of the fact that oil was needed!
heheheh.
Nice would look great done up I bet someone has an eye on this as a rod vehicle..
Cool capture!!!

Wonderful B6W capture , beautiful tones !
Great slice-of-life shot! Nice choice to make it b/w.
A classic old farm truck. A 1950 Chevy give or take a year. It is amazing how you can keep these old vehicles going. I had a car while in high school that I'd go to the junk yard to buy tires for...anything with a little tread was good enough for me...when things got too far worn, the white threads would show:)
fantastic capture!!!
Superb photo!! Great choice with the B&W, classic vintage look. (Reminds me a lot of the old photos from my great uncle's service station/general store.)
Superb capture b/w
