Description
As Andrea says I was very lucky when the PS Waverley steamed into view on the only day that I was in Bournemouth. Such wonderful weather too!
My 70-300mm lens developed a drive problem while I was in London, thankfully I had my 28-200mm lens along as a backup.

A beautiful shot! When we were children we often went on the paddle steamers that were based at Bournemouth Pier. I have been on the Embassy, The Empress of India, and the Consul which had a specially shallow draught to enable it to go into Lulworth Cove, but which made it dangerously unstable! I read up on the vessel, and discovered it's the last seagoing passenger-carrying paddle steamer in the world. Lucky to see it, indeed! A terrific shot.
