Description

Another doodle. I recommend looking at it in ZOOM. Before anybody mentions it, the guy will turn the aircraft around and takeoff parallel with the trees. The pilot isn't a flying Kansas rancher or farmer. He's the one who went to college and never came back from the city; except to visit his brother who stayed on the family ranch. Now, it is time for him and his "co-pilot" to head back home. Found the lo-poly Cessna model in the DAZ studio section of ShareCG. Highly detailed and pretty smooth even in closeup. Terrain was made from a DEM of some hilly section of Kansas. Figures--dog and man--are some of Predation's "Lorenzo Lorez" and the "Greyhound" version of his "Lorez Dog" product (both purchased at DAZ). Ground texture is based upon Flink's "Grass Textures" photos, which can be purchased here at Renderosity. Trees are Cottonwoods by Steve's Trees and were purchased at Vista International Products and as far as I know are, unfortunately, unavailable since that site went defunct. I don't think the dog looks especially like a greyhound as it seems too stocky. I choose that breed to honor my niece, Sara Miller, having recently adopted her second rescue greyhound, Bea or "Beady." Rescued greyhounds make great pets. Although a fairly good sized dog, they do well in apartments and with kids or older folks. If you're thinking of adopting or getting a dog, do consider a greyhound. They deserve a good home after the terrible life they've had on the racing circuits. As always, thanks for your visit and your comments and other encouragements. Jeremy

Well that's about what I remember Kansas looking like when I drove through years ago. Maybe flying is a better way to see the state. Nicely done.

One would hope he fly's off "away" from said tree's...lol...At least he has a cool copilot....(smiles)... Question?....Why don't blind people skydive?...Because it scares the Sh#t out of the dog.....(smiles)...

Greyhounds are beautiful dogs, but they need a garden where can run around freely! Great composition, Jeremy! :)

Really cool doodling Jeremy, have to agree the dog looks more of a Dane, actually if you coloured him brown he'd make a great 'Scooby Doodle' :-) sorry! Have been looking at DEM's myself, some interesting results in Bryce...well keep doodling, always interesting and entertaining..
