SDF-1 – Destriod Tomahawk I have to confess that of all the Destriod’s the Tomahawk is my favorite. When trying to describe its vast firepower capability the best thing to say is – you name it, it’s got it. Cannons in all sizes, it’s got them. Lasers of all sizes, it’s got them. Air to air and air to ground rocket and missile batteries, it’s got them. There are even two ultra heavy machine guns mounted in the “head” section. Author/Artists Notes This week I have shown you four of the Destriod’s from Super Dimensional Fortress Macross or Robotech as it is known in the States and now Europe. There are actually five but sadly the last one is not available as a computer model yet or I would have featured it here for you to see and hopefully enjoy. The last in the Destriod series is the Destriod Spartan. Yet another walking engine of destruction, the Spartan features two shoulder mounted air to air, air to ground missile batteries along with a massive chest mounted mortar and two “head” mounted laser cannons. I hope this brief description makes up for what you have not been able to see.
