Description

The Focke Wulf 58B was designed for use as an all purpose aircraft...gunnery trainer, aerial ambulance, VIP transport, light cargo, etc... After a stint at gunnery school, this obvious mismatch would be the ultimate "Finals" for the course. I was going for the early foggy fall morning ambiance in this atmosphere...not sure if I nailed it, but I like the look of it...sets off the fireworks nicely. Poser to set up the P-38, Vue 6 Infinite, some touch ups with PS Cs3 P-38 free from Bazze (colacola.se ? been a long time), Glacier Girl texture by Neiwil (also free on sharecg.com) FW58B: Archive3d.net free and its been around a long time, so it's probably a zillion other places as well. FW58B crew and gunner cobbled from free sketchup warehouse models

I like the tracer and the hit on the rudder best. Very real looking. Good lighting, matched the clouds. Well done. Keep up the good work! :-)

As T.Rex points out, the lighting and clouds are spot on and the tracers add something extra to this image Bill. Some pretty good models over there although some of the textures are a bit hit and miss so have to be re-sorted. Fine work on this one buddy :)

Nice work partner..as always a real sense of being in the air. I think people don't understand that you can't just put a plane in the air and rotate it a bit to look natural. Don't know about the tracers... really don't have the fogyish on what they would look like though. Hope your health is on the upside now..take care.
