Description
This was taken at the site of the SS Great Britain in Bristol, I thought it appropriate with the departure of Titanic 100 years ago.
The SS Great Britain was the first ironclad steam ship.
Sorry about the reflections!

How very timely, and reminiscent of the Titanic! It really could represent a departure of a young lad on the Titanic. Nice work!
Superb capture my friend. Sorry for causing you to hit your chin on your keyboard lol. God Bless.
great find of a lovely but sadly scenic !!
WOW! That is a great capture included reflections and all. Looks like the boy is shaking hand through the window glass :)))
reflections add to it?? wonderful!!!
Such an interesting pic!
The reflections tell a story of their own - complete the location and mood of his departure. Very well done, Clive
Superb capture
Creative shot!!! :)
Wonderful shot here love the way u got this one.
Sets the mood!
Good capture of this touching sculpture!
Great!
So nice composed this, Jeff. A lovely picture.
Excellent reflection and capture! :) (I am not Christo)
Difficult to believe that it is a century since the sinking of Titanic! A lovely image indeed.
Wonderful pic. Jeff.
Very evocative
really a cool sculpture and how they played on the figure in the window
Beautifully captured
OUTSTANDING WORK!
COOOOOOOOOL
Do NOT apologise for the reflections! They make the shot, imho. Seeing the ship gives context to the figures, and the modern-day people give it a personal, immediate feel, rather than just some far-off history. This is outstanding work!
wow this is surreal looking
Fascinating Jeff...I'm on the bandwagon with all those who applaud the reflections.
marvelous image!
it makes me weep when i see children have to stay alone... what a beautiful work, well seen and done Jeff! reflections are twice ... i think 100 years back, thats what we see in this pic!
This is a really good find.
At first I didn't even notice the reflections Jeff - well some of them (like the ship I did) but others I didn't - and the shot tells such a lovely story. The other reflections - the modern ones- as others have said just adds a sense of the here and now to the whole. A very nice shot Jeff!
Fantastic shot. IMO the reflections make it more interesting.
