Description
This is a variation on the render i submitted for the tools compy. All the floating logos were made with convert image, from the maps used for the decals on the guitars, with the exception of the Supro logo which is 3D on the guitar in real life so it is also here. The painting on the Supro was done in 1974 by me,and redone in Photoshop for this model...almost got it too...lol.The Ovation has image maps for the wood but the Martin has all procedural wood. Like it better in truth...
These guitars are done to a scale of 1 Imagine Unit=1 inch, and quite accurate.

Cool work...
awesome modeling and composition, but the render looks a little rough around the edges, probably just the compression, some jpegs, especially those done in like paint, can get rather nasty looking. Those guitars are better than any i have done, and the textures are fantastic, doing my guitars that good is now one of my goals, TOTALLY AWESOME!!! Guitar players rule man, yeah, we do
Thanx mate...yer right bout the compression...looks waaaaay better as a .png which i coverted from.....really helps t have a guitar and a bunch of measuring impliments around whilst modelling....all these were rite there. small point...attention to detail...i did the Martin 4 times till it got to that state, the supro only once...body made in the Spline Ed.,and the ovation i had to do a couple of times as well with that screwy back(which you never see...lol)
Always wanted a Ovation,always wanted a Martin.Ended up with a Applause and Honer:):):)Agree with strodog,guitarists (and artists) rule OK........Great image.Mag.
