Und a g'sunder Wildschütz war,
Hat beim Mondschein er voll Lust
's erste Mal sein Reserl bußt.
Wie er's küßt, singt grad im Tal
Wunderschön a Nachtigall !
Seit der Zeit hab'n Tag und Nacht
Die zwoa sich oft gedacht,
Noh amal, sing mir sing, Nachtigall!
Wie mein Ahnl siebzig Jahr'
Und an alter Krautrer war,
Schaut er amal so am Bach
D'längste Zeit an' Dirndal nach;
Hat dann g'seufzt: o mein,
Wo mag iazt wol 's Reserl sein !
Hat dann g'juchzet wie als Bua
Und g'sunga still dazua!
Noh amal sing' mir sing' Nachtigall!
Wie du g'sunga hast im Tal!
