Description
...took this picture over the fence at Paine Field, Everett, Washington yesterday...3 miles from home.
...the sky caught my eye as much as the unfinished Dreamliner.
.................................................
...Boeing's main plant is here for manufacturing/assembling their newest airplane, the Boeing 787...also known as the Dreamliner.
...the first eight 787s have been delivered to Japan. ANA on this unfinished plane above stands for All Nippon Airlines.
...this one is awaiting horizontal stabilizers, rudder, ailerons, flaps, doors and engines. Why? All these assemblies are made in different countries and are flown in as needed.
...there's a lot of work to be done to fill the orders for 843 more. International business is booming.

P.S. Very zoomable.

Ehm, well, I must admit firts looking on the title and the thumb I thought of an abandoned aircraft in Arizona´s desert with some parts missing already - a business that is to stay unfinished. That was the wrong way of course. WIL
I didn't notice all the missing pieces until I zoomed. Amazing that we can't make more of the parts here in the US!
