Description
This beautiful bird is a wood duck. They are very hard to raise as they die very easily. This one as well as one female made it out of 9. I took this one afternoon as he was on the poarch rail. Note the perfect lines in the brown area. He hardly looks real.

He's a very handsome duck. :) Excellent capture and great details in zoom! :)
This is great, and much better on the zoom. The detail rocks.

We have them here, and they're just beautiful! You're right ... they never look quite real to me. What a gorgeous creature!
Great looking duck and very nicely captured. Wonderful patterns on this one.
Xcellent clarity and details and colors!
He is very handsome!!
xtremely handsome!!! great portrait!!!
nice photo. good colours and sharp focus.
based on the info of survival rate, he has every right to be proud and stand-offish (at least that's how he looks to me) Great capture
