Description
We met friends at a pub alongside the River Wey at the Pyrford Lock, Wisley, Woking, Surrey. (Phew, repeat that address when you have had a pint or two!)
This was looking upstream from the lock. I had great fun with my niece and nephew when a canal boat came through and we helped open the locks.

It is fun working these; beautiful capture, and I couldn't even say that sober!
I can picture this entire operation. Our canal of this vintage ceased working in 1933 or so...but most of the old wooden lock apparatus is still in place. Well done Clive.
