love letters never written
but stored forever in my heart
tender words never even spoken out loud
for fear of society
forbidden from birth
to ever say how I feel
or tell you how much I love you
I have been a prisoner
behind an invisible wall for 51 years
and now when I am no long afraid of the masses
I am afraid you will think me a fool
so I will keep these love letters
forever stored in my heart
and die a prisoner in love
