through tears I cannot wipe away
tears in my heart
I remember you
and I am lost in a storm
alone in my grief
I cry for what I could have said
what I should have said
everyone takes for granted
the water that gives them life
until they are thirsty
now you are gone
and I am crying for the rain
the other day I saw this beautiful photo that my friend Laura (Isabelle711) had posted called “ Good Sunday Morning “ as soon as I saw it I knew someday I would have to put a poem with it. it is so beautiful, when I look at this flower it looks to me like a tear drop running down its petal. I am sure you know her work but if you don’t I suggest you go check her site out. her flower photos are second to none. Well today I was thinking of my recently departed mother and this poem came to me. After I wrote it I knew it belonged with Isabelle’s photo so I ask her if I could please put the poem with it and she said I could. I know you will love her photo and I hope you like my poem
